The full story in short (those who think it will be a spoiler should not read this part) 

So, to briefly describe the story, at the beginning of the film, the marriage of Nakulan and Shalini takes place. After these two get married, they live in Nakulan's house. His mother also lives in that house. Usually, after a couple gets married, they can live happily and freely in the early days. But these two did not have that happiness and freedom for much time. The reason for that is, there is a question that we hear the most throughout the film. That is the question of 'Is there any good news yet?' It means whether Shalini is pregnant yet. So, after about a month of their marriage, the question that the people of the village have been asking is 'Is there any good news yet?' Just imagine how it feels when the women from all over the village come and ask that. So, the villagers had a desire that even these two did not have to have a child. 

As time passed, this problem continued to increase. The people of the village started telling Shalini various stories. At one point, they even called her a barren woman, that is, a woman who could not bear children. For these reasons, they tried to hasten the birth of a child. For this, they went to the gods and did various things, and the people living nearby even brought various medicines. When they had nothing to do, they also sought medical treatment. In the end, Shalini became pregnant. In the meantime, they had to face one problem after another. That is, a few weeks after she became pregnant, she developed a disease called chickenpox. Because of this, they faced some difficulties. But in the end, she gave birth to a beautiful child. So this was not a delay due to a problem that they had. The example given by this story is, 'There is a right time for everything, don't let anyone's opinions affect your life, and until then, live happily.'
